Nursing Students studying Population Health identified the need for prescription label
translation while working with clients in their communities - most of
whom were low-English proficiency (LEP) individuals. Each term new students work toward passage and implementation of dual language prescription labels. This law was passed in Oregon and went into effect in January 2021.
